warrior beat rhythm and wellness center

Warrior Beat has opened the Warrior Beat Rhythm and Wellness Center in downtown Canton, Ohio. The Wellness Center focuses on connecting veterans with the healing power of rhythm and the arts through professionally facilitated music and art therapy programs. The Wellness Center is a safe and sober space exclusively for veterans and all programs offered are free of charge, including all the necessary materials for program participation.

Located at 318 Cherry Street NE, Canton, OH,  our location is centrally located in the downtown area and is in walking distance of the SARTA main bus terminal. There is a SARTA bus stop directly outside the Center, providing easy accessibility for veterans who rely on public transportation. The Warrior Beat facility is handicap accessible.

The Rhythm and Wellness Center features the following programs and services:

  • Gathering space for group drumming and other arts related programs (up to 50 participants)
  • State of the art recording and live-stream studio
  • Fully equipped music rehearsal space (full band, group or individual lessons)
  • Office space for business development and individual peer to peer counseling
  • Veterans lounge
  • Educational courses in music and digital design production
  • 12 Step substance abuse and Duel Diagnosis recovery meetings
  • Yoga and meditation classes

We are in need of assistance in raising the funds to complete the remodeling process and to get the necessary equipment to accomplish our mission. Below is the link to the Warrior Beat Rhythm and Wellness Center’s Kickstarter campaign. All the money we raise goes directly to help Warrior Beat build a space that will bring healing and fellowship to veterans across Stark County….every dollar.

We are asking all our friends and supporters to donate if they can and share this gofundme link (https://www.gofundme.com/warriorbeatwellnesscenter) with anyone they feel would like to support our mission. Warrior Beat is a veteran owned and operated 501(c)(3) that is dedicated to serving the veterans of Stark
County.

Thank you so much for taking the time to help Warrior Beat build a wellness center that will positively impact the lives of veterans for years to come.

Sincerely,
Trevor Meyer
